The school library is bright, welcoming and is open throughout the school day. The school library promotes the development of literacy skills, encourages a love of reading, supports the whole curriculum, and helps to advance students’ information handling and digital literacy skills.

The library has thirty PCs available for use by classes or individuals. Students needing help with homework are able to stay after school to request assistance or use a school PC to complete it. The library is very busy at interval and lunchtime and therefore, on some days or times, computer use may be restricted to certain year groups.

The library is staffed by a full-time librarian who is available to support students with choosing books, research, projects, and homework. Students and staff are welcome to borrow books whenever the library is open.
